DOT (Department Of Transportation)

This Federally Mandated Urine Drug Test (5‐Panel) is regulated by the government, specifically the DOT or Department of Transportation. Anyone who conducts a job that impacts their safety or those of others are considered to be ‘safety-sensitive’ employees and are subjected to testing.  The test detects the presence or absence of 5 types of drugs or their metabolites, along with expanded opiates, in the urine. This test is a laboratory-based test and includes a screen, confirmation, and the review of a medical officer.
